The New York Trip with the Faggards

We had so much fun going up to Palmyra, New York with Grandpa and Grandma Faggard. On the way up we stopped in Intercourse, Pennsylvania (no lie) and rode a buggy with a real life Amish man and had shoefly pie, which is much tastier than it looks or sounds. We also went to Indian Echo caves and got to hike around under ground. It was awesome. In New York we got to see all of the historic sights and visit the Hill Cumorah Pageant. It is scary to think that the last time I was there was 13 years ago (It was easy to calculate because I was 13 then, and now I'm 26--Yesss!) Anyway, it was a lot of fun. We loved going to the Joseph Smith homes and Peter Whitmer Farm. It was so neat to see the birthplace of the church and regain that testimony of the prophet Joseph Smith.
Then on Monday, Ryan's birthday, we went to Niagara Falls. We took a tour bus around and got to see all of the neat places like the whirlpool that spins backwards, the daredevil museum that hold the barrels that have gone over the falls, and the tours that go down into the falls. Scott did NOT love the plastic raincoats and the spray of the falls, but Ryan thought it was his best birthday ever. Thank you to Mom and Dad for a great trip.
