Scout "hike"
So we tried to go hiking with the cub scouts and Boy Scouts. When we got to the spot, we were told the trail was completely under water and the water was still rising. Here's a picture of what it looked like. The blue paint on the tree marks the trail.

Kylie's Birthday (and Mom's too)
So Mom and Kylie share a birthday (yes, on purpose). We celebrated Mom's birthday with friends in Bellingham. It was great to see them and have Mexican food for lunch. However, it soon began pouring down rain (I mean more that usual) and so instead of doing all of the fun things we had planned, like throwing rocks in the bay, we went shoe shopping at Target instead. For shoes for Scott. What a lucky boy. We bought some shoes for Kylie too since it was her birthday and she was wearing hand me down shoes from Scott who got them from friend Tommy. Happy Birthday little lady.
The next day we celebrated Kylie's birthday with a fun little party. We invited 4 little kids over from church and we had a great time. The plan was to have pizza, cake and ice cream, and then head off to the children's museum. It sort of went according to plan. More next time--it's nap time!

Where Babies Come From
Scott and I were having a little conversation about when he was born.
Scott: I was born in a big car!
Mom: A car! You weren't born in a car. You were born in the hospital.
Scott: No, I was born at the church.
Mom: Oh, well where was I?
Scott: You were at Costco getting milk.
Mom: Oh, that makes sense.

No, we haven't died
Scott and Kylie help decorate the tree
Kenz supervised
This is how Scott decorated the kids only tree (we had to put a rock on the base to counter balance the weight)
Nelson put her down maybe a total of ten minutes the whole Christmas vacation
Ryan and I came home from a date to find Kylie with some major road rash
She ran away down the street and wiped out half way down the hill--OUCH!
Classic Grinch
A fantastic dinner with our friends, the Dazas. Notice Nelson holding the baby in the background.
Kenzie gets a bath in the Daza's sink after she has a blowout. Where's Uncle Nelson now???
This little snoozer is the pink of perfection
Kylie and Scott always disappeared behind the curtain. What were they playing with?
The nativity! This set was never standing for long, the kids LOVED it.
Amy and Scott
Singing at a nursing home on Christmas Eve with our good friends the Tingeys
Scott and Nelson opening the traditional box of sees chocolates
The kids and Nana with their new Christmas pajamas--note to self: next year get the next size or two up!
Christmas PJ's, stocking and cap
This cutie is a tank! So smoochable...
Explanations and more pics tomorrow. After taking all three kids to Walmart this evening I am completely EXHAUSTED! (But I did find all of their Easter Sunday clothes on sale ;)
...So a long time later I am finally finishing this post. Sorry to Ryan who didn't feature very much in this post. Note to Ryan, if you want to be in more blog pictures, keep your finger out of your nose and your ugly faces to your self! ;) I love you sweetheart.

A Child's Prayer
Daddy: "Scott, do you want to say prayers?"
Scott: "Yeah, Dear Heavenly Father, bless this shirt, and hands, and dresses, and sleeves, and boogers, and toys, and mommy. Name of Jesus Christ, amen".
Daddy: "That was a great prayer buddy".
Scott "Yeah"
