Merry Christmas

Ryan and I have been having a wonderful Christmas season. We have been house/dog/2 cat sitting for some friends of ours and it has been an interesting experience. Lesson learned #1 we don't want or need a BIG house! #2 We need a small, lethargic dog (when we have a house with a back yard) who doesn't mind being harassed by small children. :) But it has been fun to see how the other half live (minus the paying of extra taxes). Chris and Sarah came up to visit for a day and we loved watching the BYU game with them. We had our good friends over for Christmas Eve Mexican casserole (nothing says Merry Christmas like tasty Mexican food) and were so stuffed that we had to put a rain check on the pie that they brought. Then on Christmas day we
woke up in the house,
had Belgian waffles for breakfast,
drove to our appartment,
had presents,
put Scott down for a nap,
read the Christmas story,
sang Christmas carols,
admired our Christmas fish,
drove back to the house to feed the dog and let him go potty,
drove in the rain to the Bishop's,
had a WONDERFUL Christmas dinner,
played pool,
ate cheesecake,
drove home stuffed,
made phone calls to loved ones on the road,
fell into bed.

It was a full day. And the best part is that we get to have Christmas again right after New Years when Ryan's parents come up for a visit. We love it. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas.
